If you’ve ever called an insurance company and felt like nobody was listening, you’re not alone. One of the things I’ve learned over the years is that most people aren’t really looking for an insurance policy. They’re looking for answers. They’re wondering if they’re covered, if they’re making the right decision, and if they’re missing something important, and if anyone is willing to take the time to explain it. That’s the part of this business I enjoy most.
I like asking questions, learning how people live and work, and helping them understand their options. Some of those conversations are about ranches and horses. Some are about businesses, churches, nonprofits, or family homes. Some people become clients. Some don’t.
Either way, I want people to leave the conversation better informed than when it started.
Outside of insurance, you’ll usually find me around horses. My dad took me to move cattle with him on horseback when I was growing up, and what started as a childhood interest turned into a lifelong appreciation for ranching, agriculture, and rural communities. Today my husband and I raise horses, and I spend a lot of time supporting Colorado agriculture through projects like the Colorado Farm & Ranch Directory.
My faith influences how I approach both life and business. I believe in serving people well, telling the truth even when it’s inconvenient, and treating others the way I’d want my own family treated.
